Microsoft XML Notepad 2007 & XPath

Did you know that you can use Microsoft’s XML Notepad 2007 to help you build XPath queries? Simply open XML Notepad 2007, open an XML file inside of it, or paste the contents of one. Once the document is loaded, find the XML node that you want to query for. Then, simply hit [Ctrl] + F to open the “Find” window, and click the “Use XPath” checkbox. The editor will automatically populate the search box with your XPath query!
Keep in mind that the editor only uses the numeric indexes of nodes to reference them. If you want to use XML node names, you’ll need to replace the numbers with the appropriate attribute (eg. @Name=’requestFiltering’)
